A LONDON GARDEN

In a darkish London garden, planted last Winter, the late summer flower heads of Hydrangea Limelight and the leaf of loose-clipped Buxus combine to very good effect

ISLE OF WIGHT

Slowly, slowly a new pool rises out of the rubble on the Isle of Wight.  The pool will be half in, half out of the ground.  The pool coping will be English limestone; the faces charcoal grey;  a honey-coloured Purbeck stone wall behind (to hide the plant room and other machinery); a hardwood deck and a lot of generous planting.  Come Christmas, it will all be over - planted, swept and tidied(we hope)
